Please review the information below before booking.
Your safety comes first, and certain health conditions, medications, or recent procedures may affect whether permanent makeup can be performed safely.
Before booking
Please contact me before booking if any of the following apply to you:
You have an autoimmune disease
You have diabetes
You have epilepsy
You have a pacemaker or heart condition
You have a thyroid condition or Graves disease
You have a history of MRSA
You have had an organ transplant
You are currently undergoing chemotherapy
You are prone to keloids or scarring
You are currently taking blood thinners
Some conditions or medications may require a doctor’s clearance before we can move forward.
When to postpone
Some things don't necessarily mean you can't have permanent makeup, but we may need to wait until it's safe to proceed.
Please postpone your appointment if:
You are currently taking antibiotics
You are sick with a cold, flu, or other viral infection
You have a sunburn on the face or treatment area
You have active acne, skin irritation, psoriasis, dermatitis, or another skin condition near the treatment area
You have had any type of eye surgery within the past year
If you're unsure whether something is fully healed or whether enough time has passed, please reach out before your appointment.
Not eligible
Permanent makeup cannot be performed if:
You are under the age of 18
You are pregnant or nursing
You are currently using Accutane or have used it within the past year
You have an allergy to lidocaine, epinephrine, or another anesthetic used during the procedure
If any of these are temporary circumstances, you may be able to book once you are eligible.
Still not sure?
Have a medical condition or take a medication that isn't listed here?
Please reach out before booking. I'm happy to go over your situation with you and let you know whether you can proceed, need to wait, or need a doctor's clearance first.
